Harper Cancels Campaign Photo-Op When He Can't Find Guy in Turban to Stand Behind Him in Press Conference
Conservative Leader Stephen Harper had to cancel a campaign appearance earlier today, when "the guy in the turban" who was supposed to be standing behind him as he gave a speech on taxes couldn't be located.
While campaigning in suburban Vancouver with all of the Conservative Party candidates for the lower mainland, everything seemed to be going well until Harper noticed the "turban guy" was missing.
The leader of the opposition then went ballistic, kicking a chair and throwing cold campaign pizza at the wall. "Where the hell did he go?" yelled Harper within earshot, and pizzashot, of our reporter.
"We're inclusive," Harper continued to bellow from behind the curtain. "We've got the guy in the wheelchair, the black guy, the two dudes holding hands, the arab, three Asians, a woman with a speech impediment, but there was supposed to be the guy in the turban behind my left shoulder. We had it arranged with the casting agency. What the fuck is going on here?"
